MAGA Magazine Fall Preview Fashion Show and Giant Puppet Parade

In honor of Halloween and to shine a light on the horrors that are being inflicted on our country, we cordially invite you to The MAGA Magazine Fall Preview Fashion Show and Giant Puppet Parade on Friday, October 31st, at the Newton Centre Green with shows at 4 pm and 5 pm.
As we ponder a MAGA future, we ask: How shall we dress? Our runway show includes: Measles Mini-dress, Shredded Constitution Gown, Bulldozer Activewear, Handmaid’s Tale Outfit 2.0, and more, and, of course, Lady Liberty to vanquish them all!Newton Indivisible musicians and members of BABAM (Boston Area Brigade of Activist Musicians) will lead a parade with Giant Puppets before the show!
There will be two shows, each approximately 40 minutes, with the first at 4:00 PM and the second at 5:00 PM. Find us at the intersection of Beacon and Center Streets for the parade and in the New Pilot Plaza (at the southwest corner of the parking lot) for the Fashion Show immediately following the parade. We look forward to seeing you!

BEARING WITNESS TO ICE, BURLINGTON

Standouts at Burlington ICE are taking place three days a week:
- Every WEDNESDAY, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in solidarity with Indivisible Waltham and Bearing Witness. It’s an incredible and energizing experience, featuring approximately 600 protesters, live music, speakers, a march, and more! We stand outside the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Office in Burlington, MA. Together, we show our love and support for immigrants, express our shame at ICE, and bear witness to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government. Click here for more information and to join us!
- Every THURSDAY 11 am to 1pm, GAIN (Greater Assabet Indivisible Network) continues their Justice 4 All standouts at Burlington ICE, same location and instructions as Wednesdays, reach out to info@massgain.org or justice4all.thu@gmail.com for more information.
- Every SATURDAY, join the new protest group, “No Fear with Street Theater” for protests from 11 am to 1 pm. Stand up for immigrants two blocks from the Burlington ICE office. All are welcome and encouraged to support our immigrant community. The protests will be held at Burlington Mall Rd. at District Ave.
LUCE HOTLINE

The LUCE hotline (617-370-5023) is a statewide ICE watch hotline that operates from 5 am to 9 pm every day and is staffed in multiple languages.
If you suspect ICE activity in your neighborhood and are unsure if it is ICE, call the hotline to report it. Trained volunteers will then attempt to verify ICE’s presence and notify the community.
LUCE is currently seeking hotline operators and verifiers, learn more by visiting lucemass.org, (you’ll find sign-up links on their website).
