Reflections on No Kings 2

No Kings 2 was a resounding success, with over 2,000 people displaying their signs and making a statement in response to the authoritarian regime. We want to thank our speakers, Senator Ed Markey, Union Organizer Ed Dube, Judge Nancy Gertner, and Immigration Activist Phoebe Gardener.

We had a Large Turnout in Newton Centre (article), and the event was documented with this Instagram post and this YouTube video by our Storytellers Action Team.
The No Kings organizers suggest we bookmark nokings.org/next/ for updates on actions to keep the momentum going. We recommend viewing their Mass Call: What’s Next After No Kings? video.

LUCE HOTLINE

The LUCE hotline (617-370-5023) is a statewide ICE watch hotline that operates from 5 am to 9 pm every day and is staffed in multiple languages.
If you suspect ICE activity in your neighborhood and are unsure if it is ICE, call the hotline to report it. Trained volunteers will then attempt to verify ICE’s presence and notify the community.
LUCE is currently seeking hotline operators and verifiers, learn more by visiting lucemass.org, (you’ll find sign-up links on their website).
