Action event of the week: The Boston ICE Tea Party, tonight!

Mass5051 and Boston Indivisible call upon all patriots to join together on the 252nd anniversary of the Boston Tea Party to retrace the footsteps of this historic protest and declare once more that America has No Kings! We will gather at 7:15 p.m. at the Irish Famine Memorial Plaza, across the Old South Meeting House. We will march to Waterfront Plaza, by the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. And we will dump ice into Boston Harbor, to declare loud and clear: No Kings! No Tariffs! No ICE!

Clean ice will be provided for dumping. Please do not bring your own ice. For more information, visit this page.

Saturday RESIST Standouts will continue in Newton Centre throughout the winter unless the City of Newton declares a snow emergency. Some of our stalwart participants may not be able to stand out in the cold. If you are young and healthy, please consider joining us on any Saturday you are available during the winter months.

Bring your own signs; see The Big List of Protest Signs for ideas.

Laughtivism Action Team

The Signs of the Times Holiday Fashion Show flash mob at the Natick Mall was a success and an experiment; our first attempt at a Flash Mob. We assigned a few folks to be “Security Guard Liasons” to charm the security guards, as a ploy to delay them. It worked! We were able to complete the show with a substantial crowd watching, then held up our protest signs and sang a revised version of Joy to the World. Off to the food court we went, where the security guards watched us closely the entire time; no fooling around with these wild-and-crazy 70-year-old rebels!
