“No matter what he thinks, Trump is not a king. But by taking America to war all on his own, he is acting like one.” — David French, War and Peace Cannot Be Left to One Man, New York Times Opinion, March 1, 2026.

How Massachusetts can stand up to ICE

What can Massachusetts do to stand up to ICE? Every day brings new horror stories about the violent, law-breaking activity of ICE across the country and here in Massachusetts.
On Wednesday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m., Laura Rotolo, Field Director for the ACLU of Massachusetts, will explain what we can do this legislative session to make things happen. Register to attend this online event sponsored by Progressive Mass.
Call Governor Healey

Governor Healey is receiving many more calls from pro-ICE residents than from anti-ICE residents, which likely explains why Massachusetts is the only state in the nation with a blue trifecta that disturbingly has existing (287(g)) contracts with ICE. Healey’s “anti-ICE” Executive Order and legislative proposal allow existing contracts to remain in effect. Call Healey at 617-725-4005 and tell her to ban all ICE contracts in Massachusetts.
