Happy Holidays to all members of Newton Indivisible
Building community with all of you is the best present ever!
As this year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to thank you for your dedication, energy, and commitment to our community. The work of organizing requires showing up again and again at meetings, events, standouts, vigils, phone banks, trainings, and more.
This year has reminded us that meaningful change happens through collective action and sustained nonviolent effort. Your contributions have strengthened our ability to advocate for the values we share.
As we look toward the new year, we’re excited to double down on the work ahead, and we’re fortunate to have a community of volunteers ready to take it on together.
For now, it is time to rest, recharge, and celebrate with those you care about. The work continues, and we’re grateful you are with us.
In solidarity,
The Newton Indivisible Executive Committee

Storytellers Action Team

Tad Stoermer, an expatriate resistance historian, explains the importance of storytelling to accountability and a reasonable understanding of history in “History Will Judge Them.” No It Won’t (video).
For example, long after Annette Gordon-Reed won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for her book The Hemingses of Monticello, some people still deny the existence of any evidence that Thomas Jefferson enslaved his own children by his slave Sally Hemings.
Join the Storytellers Action Team to help rebuild our fragmented reality in the new year.
Brought to you by the Newton Indivisible Executive Committee: Kia, Rachael, Larry, Pat, Erica, Karen, and David.
