DO:
- DO show up! No need to RSVP—just show up, and bring your friends and family.
The goal is maximal impact via gigantic nationwide turnout. “Ninety percent of success in life is just showing up.” — Woody Allen - DO bring signs and posters. Some ideas for slogans to put on signs here (scroll down).
- DO honor our commitment to always having nonviolent events. More info here.
- DO wear something yellow: scarf, shirt, bandana. It’s the symbol of No Kings.
- DO volunteer to help! We’re still looking for a couple of “marshals” to help with
crowd control: showing people where to go. Reply to this note if interested. - DO watch the short “Tips for Attendees” video here to enhance your experience.
- DO consider going downtown after the Newton event; you can be at both!
DON’T:
- DON’T put your posters on poles; a pole can be interpreted as a weapon.
